Please read this Susan
Aren’t you tired of reading and writing about any number of social issues, injustices, and downright atrocities all around the world and yet nothing changes? So many people for so long have tried to bring about change by commenting on the issues and hoping for some action, but rarely does anything significant ever happen as a result!
Our Nutopia Project is all about designing and building an alternative system to the broken and corrupt one we have today, and focusing all our efforts on the solution instead of the futile bickering with bigots and naysayers and trying to get the attention of the powerful few who want nothing more than to keep the status quo.
We have a vision (of course a naïve one to many who can’t or refuse to see the world other than through the lens of today) for a better life for all people, and we are attempting to mobilize the global population, many of whom are disaffected, poor, or persecuted people living a nightmare in the crazy and unfair world we live in today, and to channel their collective effort to bring about real and lasting change.
Please take a look around our web site to get a sense for what we are trying to do. We have only just started and we may all be dreamers or crackpots with pipedreams, but maybe, just maybe, this could be the start of something to truly change the system before it is too late for us, our children, and our planet.
Please contact us or email us if you would like to hear more about how you can help.
Thank you for your time!

Before & After

Television

Before

Since the 1950's television has become the predominant form of entertainment for most people and their families. Starting from a very young age we are exposed to TV and often new parents find it an easy way to keep babies and toddlers occupied while they catch up with chores and errands needed to keep the home functioning. Then as children we become TV addicts because it is so convenient to throw yourself on the couch and channel flick with the remote through the myriad of channels to find something entertaining. Kids can then switch to playing video games with their long distance friends so the TV viewing time for the average kid is 4 or 5 hours of their day. Once we become adults and start our hectic lives of endless work, chores, raising a family, and maintaining a home, plonking oneself down in front of the TV has become the de facto standard for most people to unwind before bed and the next hectic daily routine starts again.

There are now hundreds of channels and thousands of shows for us to choose from, exposing us to a non stop stream of violence and a seemingly endless supply of realty TV shows which show the worst attributes of ourselves such as spite, greed, envy, laziness, and cruelty. Cable companies and TV channels make us all pay exorbitant fees which are set so that regardless of how few shows we watch, we get charged the same amount.

After

In Nutopia the entertainment media is available for watching on any display screen at any time. There are no cable companies or TV channels, all media is supplied over the Communications Network from the Guardian System. There is no programming or TV schedules supported by an advertising empire, any show can be watched whenever you want without distraction.

But in Nutopia the entertainment media is no longer the predominant way that people spend their free time. Sure, people watch shows and movies from time to time, but the rich variety of other entertainment and leisure activities which are readily available in Nutopia mean that people choose to have an enjoyable experience face to face with other people instead of watching the box in isolation. The transportation systems mean that people can get together instantly and have all leisure activities with all the necessary accessories ready in a moment for immediate gratification. Traveling to forests for hiking and camping, mountains for skiing, parks, theaters, and stadiums for sports, music, and other entertainment shows, and a variety of other leisure activities are available instantly without inconvenience or aggravation.
