The Nutopia Project was created so that ordinary people can build a better world for themselves and their families for now and the future. We are all currently powerless to significantly change the world we live in because it is completely under the control of a few people, it is based on a corrupt system where money trumps everything else, our political system is all about short term elections instead of long term solutions for our collective future, and there is so much wrong with it that it is impossible for us to make the necessary changes needed in the time we have before its ultimate collapse.
Building Nutopia in isolation means that we can start with a clean slate and design a civilization which works for all people based on everything we have learned in our history, what we have done right, what we have done wrong, and what we know we need to do to ensure our long term survival as a species. We don't need to concern ourselves with who will lose their job, their investment, or their property or possessions, which are all valid concerns when making changes in the current world. We can define everything about Nutopia based entirely on what makes sense for society as a whole instead of which groups or individuals are affected.
Those who embrace Nutopia can do so knowing that all people involved are focused entirely on solutions instead of participating in time-wasting, unproductive, and endless arguments with others who defend the current system because they benefit from keeping the status quo. The Nutopia Project allows people to escape the madness of the current world and channel their efforts in to something good that gives us hope instead of our continual disillusionment of our utterly broken system which brings us nothing but despair.
Creating an ideal world from scratch without consideration for the world we live in now might seem naive to some. There are some people in the world right now who will be opposed to Nutopia because they have power, money, or both, which they will fight tooth and nail to hang on to. We will face significant challenges when the time comes for us to implement a Nutopia society and establishing autonomy so that we are not under the influence of the current corrupt system. We may also need to protect each Nutopia community from armed forces who threaten our new way of life while preserving our internal commitment to Non Violence. But none of this should stop us from designing our new way of life, because our numbers will eventually tip the balance in our favor to allow us to overcome those obstacles.
It might seem like a daunting task to build a new system and get millions of people to embrace it with open arms. People are often skeptical about anything new and they resist change. There are millions of people in our current society who are employed by the powerful few who control everything to keep us inline. Our security forces, police, military, and all branches of federal and local governments are all pawns who are mostly doing what they see as the right thing to keep our societies running. Each one of them is an individual, perhaps with a family, who is trying to live, do their job, and be happy, and they don't see themselves as puppets working to protect the interests of the elite few. But these ordinary people will eventually see the light and see Nutopia as a welcome change instead of a threat, and abandon their duty supporting the powerful system which has a stranglehold on us all. Gradually the old system will crumble and make way for a Nutopia world and the corrupt system of capitalism will become a distant memory in our bright future.
