Fundamentals

The world we live in today is totally unfair, where many people who contribute significantly with their labor have an impoverished life, and many of those who contribute little or none of their labor have lives filled with every possible luxury imaginable and they want for nothing. Also many people today exploit the system so that they get the benefits without contributing by working, such as by having children for extra benefits, or by finding ways to avoid work, or by cleverly finding ways to trick the welfare system. Even the people with jobs are largely doing mundane, boring, unrewarding, and often pointless tasks which capitalism requires to keep the system going.

Most people understand that in order to lead a happy life filled with the basic things we need to survive, and things that make us have a rich and rewarding life full of things we enjoy doing, requires that we contribute with our labor. In Nutopia the land, water, air, and all natural resources are not owned by any one person a group of people they are shared by everyone. The only thing that people can contribute is their physical and mental labor, and it is that which everyone who is capable of doing does as required by the society as a whole. In return, everyone who contributes gets to enjoy life as a citizen of Nutopia and can share in all the benefits of the community.

To ensure that everyone does have equal rights and responsibilities in Nutopia, everything is under the control of the Guardian System which means that everyone’s labor contribution, and all the benefits they receive are known by the system. There are no loopholes for people to exploit, no one games the system, and no one works excessively while others are lazy. There is also a deliberate effort to always be looking for new ways to eliminate mundane, unpleasant, and unrewarding tasks, by designing automated systems to take over those tasks that need to be done. The result is that over time, people need to contribute less of their labor, and receive more of the benefits of living in Nutopia, while all the time every citizen is always contributing and receiving the same as everyone else at all times.
