The world we live in today is hugley complex and our lives are filled with work, school, technology, and everything is fast-paced and we are connected to everything with our phones, computers, and social media. We are all drowning in information and we never get a chance to come up for air in our chaotic world of clutter, constantly being bombarded with marketing in the forms of phone calls, TV advertising, spam emails, and junk mail, there is simply no escape from it all.

Nutopia is being designed with a blank canvas to ensure that every component of the society is carefully considered before it is included. Anything that is not required or is superfluous or was present in the past purely because it was yet another product or service to serve the economic machine is abandoned, and only technology which serves humanity well and is not destructive to our long term well-being is adopted. All manufactured goods are carefully considered one by one to see if they have a place in Nutopia. All old systems of the past such as accounting software, tax preparation applications, call center systems, and so on, are rejected, instead a single unified computer system integrated with the Guardian System with a common user interface across all applications is in place. Paperwork in all forms is a thing of the past largely because of the lack of a financial system, and every communication in Nutopia is electronic.

The 21st century represents the culmination of many centuries of laws to the point where English law is now comprised of hundreds of thousands of pages. Layer upon layer, year upon year, the law can only be understood by those who have studied it for a very long time, and the ordinary man has no concept of the gotchas and idiosyncrasies that make up the rule of law. There are so many complexities that we need an army of judges, lawyers, and other bureaucrats to interpret the law and determine the appropriate outcomes of disputes and accusations.

Nutopia is not based on the laws which were created based on another time. Nutopia is a different system which does not need the same protections of citizens that those people centuries before needed in a corrupt and unfair system. The Guardian System prevents abuses of power by governments, groups, and individuals, so the laws are very simple and are understood by all because they are part of the Essential Education curriculum that must be taken by all to obtain citizenship in Nutopia. Laws do not constantly change but any changes or additions that occur are incorporated in to the curriculum and all citizens are retested to ensure that these simple laws are understood by everyone all the time.
