The capitalist world we live in today is absurdly complex and in our interconnected global economy, where our advances in technology mean that we can literally take any collection of natural resources and turn them into any product imaginable, means that there are no bounds and it is both unstoppable and unsustainable. But if you look at the essential components of a human society you find that there are very few that are needed and they can be easily provided with a minimal amout of human labor, and in a controlled manner which uses our natural resources in a sustainable way, by simply using our technology sensibly and responsibly. A Nutopia community has a framework of components that are needed for humans to live comfortably and happily but there is no desire or need like there is in the world today to find more and more products and services and more work for people just to keep the system from collapsing. There are many ways in Nutopia to keep making advances in research, and science & technology, and always learning and gaining more knowledge to keep the human race progressing is a core belief in Nutopia. But these are not done to make more money or more stuff, they are carefully considered to make sure that the direction is always to ensure the long term survival of humanity and the well-being of all people now and in the future.

The Nutopia Framework defines the basic structure of the Nutopia society. The Guardian System is at the center of each Nutopia community which allows everything to function, giving all people a good quality of life, while ensuring that everyone contributes fairly to the community with their labor. There are no loopholes to exploit in Nutopia, so every citizen knows that every other citizen is doing their fair share. The Guardian System keeps track of every citizen, every item, every service, and every activity in the community. The Guardian System serves the people, it does not control the people, it simply keeps track of all information in the community, while protecting the privacy of people, so that an efficient and fair system is in place for the benefit of all people.
