Humans are flawed. Every society in the past has ultimately failed to provide a good quality of life for all its citizens, and even the most democratic societies of today are completely broken with widespread corruption, crime, poverty, health epidemics, and abuses of power. Elected officials always end up getting what they want for themselves at the expense of everyone else.
At the heart of Nutopia is the Guardian System which is the technology that guarantees everyone is treated exactly the same so that there are no “haves” and “have nots”, everyone works the same amount as needed by the community, and everyone has the same standard of living. The system cannot be tricked, bypassed, hacked, or compromised, and every single activity in the community is recorded, to maximize efficiency, to ensure we live sustainably, and to provide high quality goods and services for all citizens.
We can’t emphasize enough the importance of you not looking at this type of system through the lens of technology today. The internet, open source software, and a huge array of interconnected software technologies and products, together with an army of computer programmers all mean that we are continually plagued with problems like software viruses, security breaches, and all our personal information being at risk. Add to that our local and federal government agencies which have access to everything we own and can see everything we do, the very thought of having a central system which controls the lives of everyone in the community seems like complete madness.
The Guardian System does see and hear everything in the community, from people’s homes, public places, on public transportation, and on streets and paths, and every action by every citizen is tracked at all times.
It sounds like the nightmare scenario of Big Brother in George Orwell’s 1984, but the most important thing to know is that none of the data captured is visible to anyone in the community.
There are no surveillance people or government agencies looking at the activities of anyone because all the data is securely locked away and cannot be accessed.
This capturing of data makes sure that in the event of a crime being reported, all the audio, video, and tracking data at the crime scene can be accessed by the people assigned to the case. Such a significant deterrent to anyone contemplating committing a crime means that there is minimal crime in a Nutopia community.
The Guardian System controls every aspect of the Nutopia community
from the use of natural resources, labor assignments,
food production, maintenance of unfrastructure, transportation,
in fact every single aspect of a Nutopia community is coordinated by the system.
Once you appreciate that none of your private information is used to monitor you,
persecute you, follow you, or infringe on any of your private activities,
the benefits of having a system which streamlines and maximizes the efficiency of every aspect of the community
can be clearly seen.
There are no government officials or agencies, no police or homeland security agents, and there is simply
no incentive for anyone to try and use this completely secure information, because no one has any money or possessions in Nutopia and
everyone has the same benefits and responsibilities.
