Please read this Susan
Aren’t you tired of reading and writing about any number of social issues, injustices, and downright atrocities all around the world and yet nothing changes? So many people for so long have tried to bring about change by commenting on the issues and hoping for some action, but rarely does anything significant ever happen as a result!
Our Nutopia Project is all about designing and building an alternative system to the broken and corrupt one we have today, and focusing all our efforts on the solution instead of the futile bickering with bigots and naysayers and trying to get the attention of the powerful few who want nothing more than to keep the status quo.
We have a vision (of course a naïve one to many who can’t or refuse to see the world other than through the lens of today) for a better life for all people, and we are attempting to mobilize the global population, many of whom are disaffected, poor, or persecuted people living a nightmare in the crazy and unfair world we live in today, and to channel their collective effort to bring about real and lasting change.
Please take a look around our web site to get a sense for what we are trying to do. We have only just started and we may all be dreamers or crackpots with pipedreams, but maybe, just maybe, this could be the start of something to truly change the system before it is too late for us, our children, and our planet.
Please contact us or email us if you would like to hear more about how you can help.
Thank you for your time!

No Money

There is no money in Nutopia and no financial system

In our capitalist world today we cannot survive without money, and the financial system is the very core of the economy, and everything in it depends on it. From its early beginnings millennia ago, money was created so that people could barter and be rewarded for making things with their labor, and so that they could then buy other things that they needed that someone else had produced with their own labor. Fast forward to today and the global financial system is now extremely complex, massively corrupt, and utterly flawed, giving rise to the most abhorrent wealth inequality, where a tiny percentage of people have the majority of the wealth, while billions of other people live in extreme poverty.

The truth is that we have all been conditioned to think that there is no other way to ensure that people will work to get what they need, and that the only way to motivate people to work harder in order to acquire more pleasurable things in life is to give them financial incentives. Another truth however, is the well-known fact that more money does not make people happier once a certain standard of living is reached. Certainly low-income people who have to scrimp and save just to make ends meet are made much happier when they have more money to help with their basic living expenses. But once a person reaches a level of income where they have shelter, good food, can raise a family, have healthcare, retirement savings, and a few relaxing vacations each year, offering them more money does not make them any happier.

In Nutopia there is no money or financial system because all the natural resources used for the production of things that we need are not owned by any individual or group, and all the labor is tracked by the Guardian System to make sure that all people are contributing their labor as needed by the community and all people are fairly treated. No one needs any money to buy possessions because nobody "owns" anything, but all people share goods and services equally in the community. All people have a good standard of living so that they want for nothing, they are healthy, they can raise a family if they want, they have a significant amount of leisure time, and in their elder years they are properly cared for until they finally die. Every citizen in Nutopia knows that everyone else is working for this same standard of living, and all people are contributing equally to share in that comfortable lifestyle.
