Please read this Susan
Aren’t you tired of reading and writing about any number of social issues, injustices, and downright atrocities all around the world and yet nothing changes? So many people for so long have tried to bring about change by commenting on the issues and hoping for some action, but rarely does anything significant ever happen as a result!
Our Nutopia Project is all about designing and building an alternative system to the broken and corrupt one we have today, and focusing all our efforts on the solution instead of the futile bickering with bigots and naysayers and trying to get the attention of the powerful few who want nothing more than to keep the status quo.
We have a vision (of course a naïve one to many who can’t or refuse to see the world other than through the lens of today) for a better life for all people, and we are attempting to mobilize the global population, many of whom are disaffected, poor, or persecuted people living a nightmare in the crazy and unfair world we live in today, and to channel their collective effort to bring about real and lasting change.
Please take a look around our web site to get a sense for what we are trying to do. We have only just started and we may all be dreamers or crackpots with pipedreams, but maybe, just maybe, this could be the start of something to truly change the system before it is too late for us, our children, and our planet.
Please contact us or email us if you would like to hear more about how you can help.
Thank you for your time!

Fundamentals

Common Language

All Nutopia communities will share a single common language

There are roughly 6,500 spoken languages in the world today, of which about 130 are considered major languages spoken and written by the huge majority of the world’s people. While many people admire the history, evolution, and diversity of this tool for communicating, it is hugely inefficient and wasteful to need multiple ways of recording, translating, and exchanging the same information. We fill the heads of our children in school for many years with foreign languages, most of whom will never even use them. After a couple of years everything they learned will be lost anyway (use it or lose it) and all that time wasted on learning languages could have been spent on something much more useful.

Each Nutopia community will initially have a single accepted language. For example, a community in the United States will have “English” as its native language, and no resources will be spent on supporting other languages such as “Spanish”. Anyone living in that community (they were born there or chose to move there) will need to pass a comprehensive language examination to ensure that they are able to live there day to day without the need of a translation service. Similarly, a Nutopia community in France will have “French” as its native language and any English-speaking person who wants to move there must pass a French examination.

In addition to the native language, all citizens in Nutopia will have to learn the “Nutopian” language. Over time (after one generation), Nutopian will become the single common language across all Nutopia communities and all the original native languages will be discontinued. The new Nutopian language will be developed with contributions from all nations and experts in the fields of linguistics and phonetics to produce the most pure, simple, and logical language in human history. Anyone who has raised kids and watched them struggle with the illogical nature and the overly complex idiosyncrasies of the English language will also appreciate the desire to change. Once the new language is fully operational and is common across the world, all the inefficiencies and wastefulness of supporting multiple languages will be eliminated.

Probably gonna take more than one generation to adopt a completely new language worldwide.
