Once we have a large following of people, have completed the design process, and funded our project, building our pilot Nutopia community will be the start of the implementation. All funds will be used for land and materials, to build the necessary infrastructure to support our new way of life. All people involved in the Nutopia Project willingly work at no charge so that we can accomplish what we need to do without concern for the cost of the labor.
Gradually as each component of the Nutopia community is completed we can begin the migration of people from the old world to Nutopia. This migration will accelerate as more people become involved in the project and people start to see how living in Nutopia is a completely different and better way of life than they live today. The migration of people will be on a first come, first served basis where the earliest members of the Nutopia Project enter before those that joined later.
Once the first functioning Nutopia community is up and running it will be carefully monitored to ensure that it is working as per the design. The success of Nutopia is measured not by GDP or wealth or possessions but instead by the overall happiness of the population, the condition of the environment, and the sustainability of natural resources.
The migration of people from the old world to Nutopia will likely cause the fragile capitalist world to deteriorate with possibly civil unrest, shortages of labor and food, and rioting and looting, as people, businesses, and institutions give up on their current life in favor of a better life in Nutopia. While this is not ideal, the gated Nutopia communities will be secure, and our open door policy means that anyone who will accept the rules of living in Nutopia is welcome to join. Lines of people will be processed on a first come, first served basis, and once the Nutopia communities have expanded to accept more people.
Initially there will be many people who refuse to live by the rules of Nutopia and will choose not to join until the capitalist world they live in finally crumbles. This group will include:
Wealthy people who today live very well but once ordinary people who serve them have left, they will find that their wealth means nothing anymore.
People who refuse to give up their right to bear arms.
People who want the right to overindulge and become obese at the expense of everyone else who have to pay for their poor healthcare, and refuse to try and live a healthy life.
People who treat other people poorly who have a different ethnicity, skin color, sexuality, age, or any other characteristic that they feel they are superior to.
People who refuse to give up tobacco and drugs by being properly treated for their addiction for their own benefit and for the benefit of society as a whole.
People who refuse to give up their right to bear as many children as they want regardless of the problems we face with overpopulation.
The early adopters and supporters of Nutopia will be those who fully understand all the social, environmental, and socioeconomic problems of today, and will want to embrace it. However, over time the people holding out and clinging on to a now collapsing capitalist society will accept the rules of Nutopia and join the community, and eventually see that abandoning their prejudicial, outdated, bigoted, and selfish positions is a small price to pay for a comfortable life in Nutopia.
