Please read this Susan
Aren’t you tired of reading and writing about any number of social issues, injustices, and downright atrocities all around the world and yet nothing changes? So many people for so long have tried to bring about change by commenting on the issues and hoping for some action, but rarely does anything significant ever happen as a result!
Our Nutopia Project is all about designing and building an alternative system to the broken and corrupt one we have today, and focusing all our efforts on the solution instead of the futile bickering with bigots and naysayers and trying to get the attention of the powerful few who want nothing more than to keep the status quo.
We have a vision (of course a naïve one to many who can’t or refuse to see the world other than through the lens of today) for a better life for all people, and we are attempting to mobilize the global population, many of whom are disaffected, poor, or persecuted people living a nightmare in the crazy and unfair world we live in today, and to channel their collective effort to bring about real and lasting change.
Please take a look around our web site to get a sense for what we are trying to do. We have only just started and we may all be dreamers or crackpots with pipedreams, but maybe, just maybe, this could be the start of something to truly change the system before it is too late for us, our children, and our planet.
Please contact us or email us if you would like to hear more about how you can help.
Thank you for your time!

No Military

All citizens in all Nutopia communities are equal in every respect so there is no fighting for land or resources

In 2011 the United States spent 20 percent of the federal budget on defense. All told, the U.S. government spent about $718 billion on defense and international security assistance in 2011, more than it spent on Medicare. As of 31 December 2013, there were 1,369,532 people on active duty in the armed forces, with an additional 850,880 people in the seven reserve components.

The United States and Europe have a long history of war in the 20th century, and the 21st century has already seen its fair share of war in Iraq, Afghanistan, and the war on terror. The West now has the most technologically advanced military machine, with laser-guided bombs, satellites which can read the headline from a newspaper on the street, and drones which can discretely approach a target undetected and have it destroyed by an operator pressing a button thousands of miles away. The irony is that with all this power, the terrorists continue to grow their numbers because they have no country that can be attacked, and because every innocent civilian killed by a drone because poor intelligence information led to the wrong target, ensures that more and more new recruits are added to the ranks of terrorist organizations, and so the cycle continues.

There is no military at all in Nutopia because all citizens of the world share the same natural resources, and there are no countries or regions fighting over land, and there are no religious conflicts, and all people have the same quality of life, so no resources or labor are needed to support a military force.
