Please read this Susan
Aren’t you tired of reading and writing about any number of social issues, injustices, and downright atrocities all around the world and yet nothing changes? So many people for so long have tried to bring about change by commenting on the issues and hoping for some action, but rarely does anything significant ever happen as a result!
Our Nutopia Project is all about designing and building an alternative system to the broken and corrupt one we have today, and focusing all our efforts on the solution instead of the futile bickering with bigots and naysayers and trying to get the attention of the powerful few who want nothing more than to keep the status quo.
We have a vision (of course a naïve one to many who can’t or refuse to see the world other than through the lens of today) for a better life for all people, and we are attempting to mobilize the global population, many of whom are disaffected, poor, or persecuted people living a nightmare in the crazy and unfair world we live in today, and to channel their collective effort to bring about real and lasting change.
Please take a look around our web site to get a sense for what we are trying to do. We have only just started and we may all be dreamers or crackpots with pipedreams, but maybe, just maybe, this could be the start of something to truly change the system before it is too late for us, our children, and our planet.
Please contact us or email us if you would like to hear more about how you can help.
Thank you for your time!

Labor

How work gets done in the community

Labor is the physical and mental work that people in Nutopia do in order for the community as a whole to function effectively. The work needed to be completed is comprised of a number of individual tasks.

Tasks

A task is a specific activity that must be completed in order for the work to be carried out. There may be only one task or there may be many tasks that contribute to the completion of the specific work needed. Tasks are automatically assigned by the Guardian System which keeps track of every aspect of the community to determine what Tasks need doing, when, and by who, to ensure the fair allocation of work between citizens, and that the right people with the right skills are notified that the specfic work is expected of them.

Skills

A skill is an ability that a person needs in order to complete a given task. A task might be as simple as to "dig a hole in the ground" which requires the skill to "dig with a shovel", or a task might be as complex as "attach a detached finger on a human hand" which might require 50 different skills to complete the task. People are continually learning new skills as the needs of the community change over time, as people get older, and as people find new skills that interest them. The list of skills offered to people that they can learn is managed by the Guardian System which knows what skills are needed now and in the future.

Automation

All tasks that can be automated are automated. The Research & Development Center is continually looking for new ways to eliminate the need for human labor to complete tasks. Citizens rate the tasks they work on and the ones which are the least rewarding and the least enjoyable are prioritized so that an automated solution can be found so that people no longer have to do that task. And once that task has been automated, people simply learn new skills because they no longer need the skills for that redundant task.

The Guardian System keeps track of all the tasks that need to be completed in the community, and the citizens that have the skills to complete the tasks. The system streamlines the assignment of tasks to make sure that the optimum number of people have the appropriate skills and to make sure that the tasks are fairly shared by all those in the community.
