You might be wondering how it's even possible to break away from a socioeconomic model that is so entrenched and so under the control of such concentrated power. There is no question that the Nutopia Project is hugely ambitious and there is no doubt that there are many people with immense power and influence that will do everything they can to try and stop what we are doing. Everything they hold dearly is at risk if Nutopia gets any momentum and becomes a credible force for good and for change, because Nutopia is very deliberately being designed so that we can eventually abandon that world and everything that is wrong with it.

What is still striking today is that a tiny percentage of the world's population is controlling everything, sometimes blatantly, sometimes with subtlety, and often in complete secrecy. Depending on your level of suspicion, your awareness, and your acceptance of the way things are today, you may or may not realize just how cleverly the rest of us are being kept inline with fear, misinformation, control of the media, financial influence over policy and our elected leaders, by this powerful elite group of a few people.

So there's the irony, there is strength in our numbers, and numbers is what we have, because billions of disaffected people around the world want change but have no idea how to get it, and Nutopia gives them a way. Our strategy is to use our collective numbers to design and build our replacement world, and then use our numbers to peacefully take our world back from the few that are controlling it. There is no question that the numbers of people that want change are there, we just have to get them to embrace Nutopia as the way they can get the change they so desperately want.

We can do much of the work that is needed within the framework of the world we live in. Many of us live in societies where we are free to do whatever we want within the local laws. For example, you are free to join us and follow what we are doing and make contributions to the discussions. You can tell others about what we are doing and ask them to join us too. You can use your spare time and your talents to help us design a Nutopia society, and eventually you can participate with your labor in building the actual Nutopia model.

Once we are well on our way to building a following of people and designing the model for Nutopia, there will come a time where we will want to take the next phase and build our pilot community. At that point we should have the power of the people behind us so that we can fund the pilot and build it by overcoming the resistance of those that want to preserve the status quo. This may mean that we have to participate in the political process so that we can make the progress we need in the confines of a corrupt system. If we have the numbers behind us, then this becomes possible so that we can buy land and bypass the laws that would otherwise prevent us from completing our mission.
