Today we all have a large amount of our personal information stored as data on our personal computers, laptops, thumb drives, external hard drives, smartphones, and in the cloud on various web sites and hosting services. It can be overwhelming trying to manage all of our personal data because it is never all in the same place. We are worried about security with our files in the cloud and hackers stealing our files from our computers and phones. We don't typically backup our data properly, and we send our files around in emails and memory sticks. When we upgrade our devices or move services it is a complete nightmare to get our data in order. All our photos, videos, spreadsheets, documents, drawings, email messages, text messages, and voice messages are all in their own data silos and we have to copy and move files around from all our gadgets and storage devices to try and keep some semblance of order in our world of data chaos.

In Nutopia no one owns anything and no one has a computer or a laptop or any other device which stores any of our personal data. Everyone has access to the Guardian System from any device such as a Static Access Device or a Portable Access Device and all our personal data is stored securely in one place which we can manage. Devices do not have any storage for files such as photos, videos, spreadsheets, documents, drawings, email messages, text messages, and voice messages, each device simply is a window on to the central source of data in the Guardian System. Files never need to be moved around, copied, transferred, or backed up by us because they just sit in the Guardian System and we can access them securely whenever we want to.
